Recce

This is the perfect location for our thriller opening as it is secluded and unrecognisable to many viewers. Will we use camera effects to make the location look dark and gloomy and how it would look in any other thriller movie. 

Test shots character 1

This character would be used for the main characters deceased child. We would make the character look like an illusion and a memory from the main character so the audience are confused to if the child is real or part of the main characters imagination. This is perfect casting as the child is familiar with the surroundings that we are shooting in.

This is our first attempt of our soundtrack for our film opening.

Timeline/ walkthrough

I have included the estimates of each scene in our timeline so that we have an estimate of our opening time.  The Scenes and order are our first draft, these may change before we shoot and during if necessary.

Costume

We have decided to have the main character in dirty clothes, so that the audience can see she has been in trouble or a bad situation. The blood stains on her clothes will suggest she has been involved in violence in some way or may make the audience think she is a murderer. We will use oil or wet Catherines hair to make it seem that she is unhygienic or does not have the facilities with her. By making her seem 'dirty' we can show the audience that she does not fit in with society, implying her mental problems.We have decided to put the child in white to show that she is not there in reality. The contrast in white to stained white clothes that Catherine will wear shows who is real and who is the hallucination.
